I’ve been really bad at backgrounds. Kite sent me an ask saying that I should try practicing backgrounds more using reference, so I found this, cracked my fingers, and tried not to become too overtly rigid and perfectionist (I’m oddly very much so when it comes to something I’m not good at).

The number of days this is belated shows the number of times of a jerk I am. But in any case, I’m glad this is done and I finally get to smash this at Daryl’s face and finally finish my Happy Birthday greeting (which is totally late by almost a month. I KNOW I KNOW, GO SLICE ME UP WITH THE KATANA NOW). Happy Belated Birthday!

Anya Hindmarch Spring/Summer 2012 Collection: The Mini Grace and The Huxley. Some time ago, my Mum got in the mail a catalog of Anya’s collection! I really loved the way they presented the bags in the booklet; the lighting is fantastic, and I absolutely ADORE how they arranged random objects that fit each other like a jigsaw around the bag. It’s really intriguing, so I based my ink+paints off them just for stylish fun.
